Unidentified subject!

Proposed  modification of object_custom.c file doesn't solve the problem.

   I have changed abs to fabs function in the object_custom.c file (6 lignes
   impacted).
   I ran  ./ configure and make
   object_custom.o is modified (new date)
   dia executable is not changed (still old date) and resizing problem is still
   present

   Same conclusion after a complete new installation of dia 0.85, file
   modification and compilation: I get a new version of dia but always with the
   resizing problem.

It seems that  the modified object_custom.c file is not used by the make of dia.

I use Linux Suse 6.3
