Just to clarify: DDN's rules state that companies may not use the list for marketing or advertising purposes. The language that Dorean included in her initial email struck me as marketing-oriented, so I asked her to remove it. This does not mean that a DDN member who's also in the private sector can't acknowledge whom they're working for. It's just that language that's smacks of marketing or advertising isn't allowed.
