I don't overclock any more after a weird experience I had overclocking an 
Athlon ages ago.  It ran fine except that unzipping something always failed 
with a CRC error.  Before that I expected that an overclocked CPU would either 
work or fail spectacularly.  I'm not willing to risk data silently being 
corrupted in the background, particularly when even mid-range CPUs these days 
are more than enough for nearly everything.
