Now this surprises me, printing has been the least painless thing I've ever encountered - it's the one area I'd say Linux excels. In OS X or Windows if I want to access my networked printer there's at least 5 clicks involved - on Linux there was a grand total of 0 - it detected my printer and installed it with no intervention from me, I just clicked print and it worked.

Guess that's the problem with hardware though, it could have a few thousand good reviews and you could still manage to get something you run into endless issues with!
