I just solved the problems I was having with the sub-picture stuff. A classic case of PEBCAK. I was writing some random value to all the LUT registers. Duh!
With this update the sub-picture layer is pretty much finished. The only thing missing is the new pixelformat. I'll leave that up to the main developers. I also updated vo_directfb.c to make things a bit cleaner.
