No. The timings are exactly the same in all modes. And if you use mplayer
with YUY2/UYVY you will also get DSPF_ARGB which is the same as
DSPF_RGB32. If you don't see the error there you shouldn't see it with
gtk.

That's because the hardware is reprogrammed even if the configuration
wasn't changed.
