Well actually I had some weird stuff forward/backward frame stuff happening but that was due to a bug in vo_dfbmga b-frame handling w/ direct rendering. I only noticed it some time after I added the direct rendering support since I didn't have any videos with b-frames. I'm not sure if I ever posted the fix to mplayer-dev-eng. I'll have to check.
