When the dfb_dok program is used with the matrox-sgram option it did speed up the results quite a lot. So I assumed that the G540 DH MAX has sdram on it. Is this assumption incorrect? The display is correct when the machine boots, XDirectFB is running or when MPlayer is running, it only becomes corrupted when XDirectFB has been terminiated.
