I tried the new cle266 drivers. (Thanks by the way) However I'm kinda stuck on achiving the following: I want the first head (my CRT Monitor) to display a console while the second head should play a video. If I use vesafb by adding vga=789 to the kernel params, I get two fbdevs as described in the docs. However I did not succeed in getting anything shown on the tv-out. If I don't use vesafb and just load the viafb module I get a cloned picture on the tv and can playback on tv and crt simultanously. Any ideas why I seem to be unable to get the tvout work when vesafb is used?
Configuration is: epia-m with c3-933, gentoo linux, kernel patches from: http://blade5.bvu.edu/wiki/tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=2 directfb 0.9.20
dmesg output: viafb: VIA CLE266 framebuffer 0.8 initializing viafb: framebuffer size = 32 Mb viafb: mode=720x576 bpp=32 refresh=50 TVon=1 TVtype=2 viafb: fb1: Via frame buffer device 720x576-32bpp cle266vgaio installed. Hardware rev 3 detected.
Thanks
