pp=0x20000? Is that a deinterlacer or something? Mplayer cvs has proper -vf pp options instead of magic numbers so -pphelp doesn't help me :) It also seems to have several deinterlacer filters. So it seems that the content is mixed telecine / progressive which makes mplayer eventually display the telecine parts as interlaced. The chunky interlace artifacts may be caused by scaling the interlaced frames. Slightly jerky motion is to be expected when displaying 29.97fps material on a PAL TV. -- Ville Syrjl [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.sci.fi/~syrjala/ -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe directfb-users" as subject.
