Hi,

I know that there were already several discussion on this toppic.
But now I got a problem myself.
What works:
1. First head connected via self made RGB cable to TV. FB-mode
(interlaced) is set so that I have a usual console on TV.
2. Matrox TV-out adaptor composite signal connected to TV.
3. Matrox TV-out adaptor s-video signal connected to TV.

With 2. and 3. I use matrox-cable-type=composite in /etc/directfbrc

So today I build an adaptor to get RGB out from 2'nd head with softdevice.
But that adaptor did not work. TV stays dark and the input selector
logo of my sony tv, stays on screen as there is just no signal. I tried
composite, scart-composite and scart-rgb values for cable type parameter,
but that did not result in any change on TV. Can't believe that all my
solder points on the new adaptor are bad.

Finally I tried my working cable from 1st head on 2nd head, but that
does not work too. TV stays dark, no signal :-(( .
I veryfied that old cable still works on 1st head.

Any hints what to check next ?
