Yes and no. More no, as I did not get a picture. As I wrote
above I tried to build an adaptor cable and _not_ a connector cable.
My adaptor cable has a _female_ scart connector for use with a normal
scart cable with all pins connected. So schematics found on matrox
side are for a connector cable with a male scart plug.
Looking at the following picture:

http://www.sm.go.dlr.de/~bob/scart/scart.gif

I had to swap pin20 with pin19, and pin18 with pin17.
On the other unused side 2,4 are swaped with 1,3 .

When that was done, I got a picture and I recognized that I swaped
blue and green components. By this I can tell now that RGB signalling
line works, as both TV display modes (composite and rgb) showed wrong
colors. That was with matrox-cable-type=scart-rgb. By specifying
matrox-cable-type=scart-composite I could switch from composite
(correct colors) to rgb (wrong colors). So now I have the right colors
in both modes, I'm a bit disappointed by RGB mode. Colors are looking
a bit flat compared to composite signal.
