Is that second patch correct? All I can see in it is a load of "Only in dfb++-0.9.23: " type of lines. I'm just building directfb now. When I tried building it before (with Mark Adams field parity patch), I got an error because it couldn't find fbdev/fbdev.h. Is this the same error you were getting? I'm leaving it building whilst I go out so I'll see if it fails with that for me now...
