I would like to upload the code on the wiki, but it seems that only
images or ogg files are allowed. Do I need to upload them some where
else? Or can it be changed?

Probably, yes. In fact I made this some time ago, but I had still some
artifacts. Now that I'm back on this, it seems that these artifacts are
gone.
Also I've seen on this mailing list that mike will work on setting
properties for each windows, wich was something really missing some
times ago. (don't know how far he went on this).

Interesting. I've also seen somewhere (I think it was on the wiki) that
a patch for mozilla was available. I haven't test it yet.

All that makes me think that it's now time to start looking at the
project for a directfb-based desktop.
I just hope that I will found some time to have a look and try to port
some part of xfce (or at least, update the port of the panel so that
it will be based on the latest sources).
