White stripes occurs as soon as viafb module inserted. Both of the boards seem to be identical. They have same the same mainboard pcb revisions of B and although cle266 asic resides under the hint sink I dare to uncover it and see that they have different revisons. I decided to check BIOS settings. They were different. Working one has CRT only option checked but nonworking one has both CRT+LCD. Setting the BIOS option only to CRT solves the problem. No performance penalties also. At short, even if M1000s have different cle266 revisions they both work. Final conclusion is if you set CRT+LCD option in BIOS you get no display at VGA with viafb. _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users
