If one actually attempts to impose a 'meaning' to .tv and many of the others
being proposed, they would all seeem to promise a very small market. I mean
someone wanting to register 'mycompany.com', but its taken -- do they really
care if they end up registering 'mycompany.ro' or. 'mycomany.kz' or
'mycompany.ac' (to pick a couple that register.com currently offers). I
love register.com's promotion of .ws as 'web site'. Is it even possible to
get any more redundant than that?

Ultimately, except to open up additional name space, the specifice TLD a
domain is registered under is meaningless. It's not like a web user is
going to start typing in dozens of variations on a domain name, with
different TLD's, attempting to find a web site.
