I've definitely typed .net and .ca when i couldn't find a site i was looking for in the .com realm. Of course the extension has an affect on the domain name. Swerve.Com has a certain feel/meaning. Swerve.Net has a different feel/meaning. Swerve.Org has yet another feel/meaning. Swerve.TV and yet another. In some ways it's a very complex matter, imo. The more open the namespace the better. Of course the content of the site, or the philosophy behind the organization/company affects our relationship to it as well. Greenpeace.com ?? don't work for me. Greenpeace.Org ...yup. swerve > > Jim > >
