Actually, "Experiment in Remote Printing" started in Mid-1993 as an
experiment, which a year later they declared a success and closed
down.

Nickerson actually created tpc.int that same year, he ran the cell for
Oxford at the time.

They got tpc.int before the current charter defining it as for "Treaty
organizations" was enforced as strictly as it is today.
