Hi everyone

I'm also experiencing a whole bunch of problems over the past weekend.
First, the system says that a domain i want registered is already taken up
but whois.opensrs.net shows that is is available. Then, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
isn't responding... not even the usual confirmation reply email indicating a
ticket number.

Is something wrong? I really need to explain to anxious customers who are
getting rather impatient. Opensrs, if there is anything we can do, please
let us know.

Regards

Subject: socket errors

Hi-

I'm getting a TON of socket errors this weekend (both during lookups
and during registration attempts). I've received
a few customer complaints/comments and tonight I had a customer's
registration attempt fail AFTER they had paid for the registration
(my reg's are processed in real time, so I process payment in the
middle of the reg process).

Unnerving for them, they all worry they are being huckstered by
slapdash storefronts as it is.

Is there something going on this weekend to make traffic more intense?
Upgrades? Repairs? Anything I can tell my customers and not feel like
a liar?

Just curious,
