Hi Hugh,

As far as I know (based on previous experiences with VServers), you need to
contact them and get the IP address of the main server instead of using the
IP they assigned for your virtual server. This is due to the way they
"segment" one physical server into hundreds of different "virtual dedicated"
servers :)

Yes - but that's not where the server space is located.
BTW, if you're also an @home user, (offlist) how do you find the
cable-modem service?

That's the IP of my domain: http://www.coffeebeanshop.com/ on a shared 'nix
server at VServers.com.  The domain I want to use is a 'virtual' server
under
that main server IP.  I'd be real surprised if it really is the 'machine'
IP.
