There's a patch floating around which I have posted several times that
allows you to bind to your desired local address before connecting to
the OpenSRS server.  I think it is a more appropriate solution than
trying to guess the address the machine will pick when you fail to
call bind().  (Yes, it's deterministic - no, it doesn't have to be.)
