Y'know, I believe firmly in business karma and acting
by the good that you know.
Register has sued Verio for spamming their clients.
If it is indeed true that you were spammed by this salesbot
from this OPENSRS mailing list, then Register's actions indicate
they really DON'T care about the ethics of egregious spamming.
I know, any of you with business experience might respond "Uh....~duh~!!"
but you have to ask yourself where you want to put your interests-
A.) The company that originally had the vision and concept to put
the OpenSRS concept into action and proven support of its BtoB partners
B.) The reactionary company that is showing, through action, that it
will do anything to grab market even if it means acting in direct conflict
with their supposed moral high ground
DISCLAIMER- I don't know all the facts.
I would think this would cast a negative light on Register's case, but then
again, I really do think someone needs to put a muzzle on Verio's
saleshounds.
Personally-I'll just stick with the company with the superior product and
not
a lot of litigious constraint, posturing and other tomfoolery. It'll all
come
back to them. I have better things to worry about...

The funny thing is that our intelligence indicates that nobody really uses
BestSRS...could be wrong, but the numbers are usually damned accurate (if
you've ever wondered what happened to domainwatch.com...;)
As far as who's actually got the "best" SRS, that's up to all of you to
decide. ;)
