Just let this thread die, will you?

Obviously no one likes 300 emails a day.  I especially don't like the
many emails I've received on this subject.  And cross-posted, no less!
I pity you guys who get 3 copies ...

OpenSRS already said they are going to rethink their announcement policy
and mailing list configuration.

So ... with all due respect, how about we all just sit back, shut 
up, and wait for it?
