I really can not Why are you obssessed with your own concepts and ideas? I really
disagree with all of your long mail but particularlly above one is something very
silly.
Who made you believe that the companies who offer domain name registration below $10
(or at $ 7.5) are making losses or offering crappy services? Have you any day
experienced their services? Have you tried to understand their business model?
Believe me (only if you want & can), there could be 100's of different approach and
models can exist and with all price level. Infact selling domain at $7.5 is still
profit making exericise as you've margin of $1.5. However if you can manage some
business & publicity (which is a driver of major internet traffic), you can also go
below that magic figure of US$ 600
Only request to you is, don't try to enforce your views to anybody. There are lots of
ideas and thoughts can co-exists in this world and also on opensrs discussion list.
