Yes. So please refrain from sending me insulting off-list replies, okay?
If you can't say it here, than I don't want to hear it.

Take a closer look at the FAQ. Both DNS updating and Whois updating
are "coming soon". And we all know how soon "soon" means.

You obviously have never used Granite Canyon. :)

So your argument is moot: you as an RSP can't use them as a source
of wholesale domains in the first place. Oh, but your argument is that
*your* customers are going to get domains from them instead of from you
(see my response to this below)

Ditto.

Actually, you have at least two other choices. One is going with ICANN,
one is rethinking your business model.

I highly doubt that someone who wants to *seriously* get into the domain
registration business is going to use OpenSRS. Why? Because of the
pricing.

OpenSRS makes it easy for RSPs to add domain registrations to their other
offerings. If you want to make registrations your primary business, then
you are always going to lose to some one who doesn't pay the OpenSRS
mark-up.
Period.

Actually, you are. "Please lower your profit margin so mine can be higher."

Nothing, if you do it intelligently. And if you realize that at this point,
OpenSRS's silence on the issue probably means "no". Accept it. Move on.
