Chuck,

I don't like the sound of this. :((

What if a domain name owner is unhappy with the RSP that registered
or transferred a name for him and wants to use a different RSP?

What if an owner registers a domain name with an RSP for $30/year and
later finds he can renew the name with a different OpenSRS RSP
for only $15/year?

What if the owner doesn't like the way the RSP combs his hair and
decides to transfer the name to another RSP after only a month?

What if a buyer uses an OpenSRS RSP only to register a domain
name or to transfer a domain from another registrar to OpenSRS, and
that RSP provides no other support once the registration (or transfer)
is complete...are you saying that the owner cannot use a different
OpenSRS RSP of his choosing to renew the name?

If an RSP is not giving any type of support, why should a buyer be
restricted from registering with another RSP who is offering a better
price or services?

A domain name owner should be able to renew or transfer domain
names to whichever RSP that gives him the best service. I have
several clients who will be renewing and transfering hundreds of
domain names in the next few months. Is it necessary to transfer
domain names out of OpenSRS just to be able to renew names with
an RSP of the owner's choice?
