I understand the sentiment. Whether I get round to it is another thing, I
have always considered trying to talk to slow moving, dinosaur bureaucracies
like ICANN('t) a short path to nervous breakdown. I wouldn't call myself an
anarchist by any stretch of the imagination, but even *thinking* about
bureaucracy and committees and bloody sub-committees in general makes me
reach for the Whisky...

I left the UK in disgust many years ago, while I was in the 40% tax bracket
and they were spending my money paying fat politicians in Brussels / the EEC
to regulate on the size, colour and shape a banana has to be before you're
allowed to import it. Heading up some sort of protest movement to take on
the likes of ICANN gives me the willies...

(Anyone who understands that, has been to Scotland :)

If I was to do it, I'd sure like to tackle ARIN at the same time over their
ludicrous insistence that we all switch to 'virtual hosting'...
