We order wildcard certs the same way as always.  Generate a CSR with a
name of *.domain.ext and the Thawte forms automatically flag it as a
wildcard cert request.

Thawte will probably be completely shut down within the next couple of
years.  At the time the buy-out was announced, the prior owner of Thawte
(now a multi-millionaire thanks to Verisign) said that Verisign promised
to keep the Thawte services available for one or two years... of course
they didn't promise not to raise prices, which was basically the reason
Verisign bought Thawte--Thawte was eating away at Verisign's market share.
