I am merely trying to rationalise it - as are many here it seems. OpenSRS
clearly has a loyal following,and for very good reason - excellent service,
excellent support, excellent attitude to RSP's etc. - that much is clear - but
that has to square with balancing the books, and being competitive. To use your
car analogy - a new car won't go faster if you pay more for it <g>.
I didn't start this thread - but I do believe that all anyone wants here is some
sort of volume discount - so those that are doing real volumes (to be defined)
can get a better deal - after all - that's how it works in most things - and we
are not talking hard goods here - it is just numbers.

Yes. In fact I intended to transfer it last time around, but was unable to
obtain the assurances from either registrar (not OpenSRS), with four weeks to go
before it came up for payment, that NetSol would release it in time to avoid
continuity problems. I have several domains like that. But OTOH - all domains I
have registered since it was opened up have certainly not been with NetSol!
