I just received a spam from Verisign promoting the following service:
http://www.greatdomains.com/domains/dact/search.asp
I would welcome opinions here, but it looks alot to me like Verisign/NetSol are
offering pre-registered (previously expired?) domains through GreatDomains -
another Verisign company.
The only thing I can't quite understand is that in all of the examples I
checked, the name servers where:
NS1.DOMAINSAREFREE.COM 209.235.102.17
NS2.DOMAINSAREFREE.COM 209.235.102.18
Which is registered to:
Ben Neumann (DOMAINSAREFREE-DOM)
7775 Sunset Blvd. # 102
Los Angeles, CA 90046
US
Any speculation as to what might be going on here?
