Hi,
I am investigating what would be involved in changing the IP addresses of
our nameservers which are currently used by alot of OpenSRS domain
names. It is unlikely that the hostnames will need to change, however does
OpenSRS do a DNS lookup on the hostname or is the IP address hardcoded
into the profile(s)?
I assume that if OpenSRS looks up the IP address from hostname, I could
just change the IP in the zone and the changes would be reflected in the
whois.
