I just received a snail mail marketing piece from Network Solutions with the
banner
"The domain name you secured for your web site is
up for renewal soon. Switch to Network Solutions,
and you'll save $20 and get $25 worth of free
business services."
At first, I thought the two domains listed were ones I had registered with
Network Solutions and transferred to OpenSRS, but lo-and-behold, they're
actually domains that were REGISTERED NEW with OpenSRS.
I know that OpenSRS is obligated to sell the registration information to
anyone who ponies up the $10,000 cash. What I want to know is, did OpenSRS
sell it to Network Solutions, or did they swipe it from the registry?
Regards,
Eric Longman
