hehe.. i wondered how long it would be before someone did something like
that. these folks have decided to start running their own root dns servers.
these domains will not even work close to globally unless they managed to
convince every ISP to install new.net's root servers into the ISP's hint
zone or unless they convince nearly everyone to install the plugin into
their browsers (something that, i can probably say with confidence, is not
going to happen). and, IMHO, since a domain name isnt worth much if it
doesnt work for everyone, this seems to border on fraud. heck, a few years
ago we wouldnt even do name-based virtual hosting because some infintessimal
peice of the internet wasnt compatible with it. if you have a serious site,
these domains are really useless. as a novelty? maybe, but i have better
things to do with $25.

ps: ditto on scarr's suggestion of .balls. my suggestion is that every
registrant gets a free .screwed domain as well. ;- p
