Hi Guennadi,

New.net has taken a different approach to the lack of new Top Level
Domains. Rather than wait for an indeterminable amount of time for ICANN,
a highly politicized, quasi-governmental body to release new names, we
have decided to offer a market-based solution to the issue. We are
partnering with major ISPs(current list includes Earthlink, Netzero,
Excite@Home, Juno, and another major one which will be announced today or
Monday), to carry the names we have released. In addition, we have a
Windows client which allows users who are not on an enabled ISP to see the
names. We have partnered with a number of companies who are bundling our
plug-in with their downloads, Bearshare and Gozilla to name a couple.

The TLDs are *not* globally resolvable, which we are very clear about.
(see the bottom of virtually every page on our site) however we are
quickly gaining adoption. Within the next week, more people will be able
to see our names than there are AOL users, which is a major
milestone, and we're not stopping there.... :-)

If anyone has any questions about New.net and/or what we are doing, please
feel free to contact me.
