Yes, I meant registry/registrar.

I don't much particularly care what brand name gets used, I just want to see
that the registry and the registrar have no financial interest in each
other. (I.e. NSI the registry or NSI the registrar gets sold to a third
party) This was the original plan, no?

Then we might expect the registry (or whoever owns it) to enforce transfer
default ACK requirements on NSI the registrar. Right now there is *zero*
incentive for the registry to take any action that would enforce the
transfer default ACK requirement, which would cause NSI the registrar to
loose business.
