We have debated this internally quite a bit as well, it is not an ideal
situation. FWIW, some of the factors in play are:
- limited time for queue submission, the more complex we make our process
after we shut down our queues, the likelihood of error greatly increases
- .info credit program; we made this available so that resellers' overhead
was minimized; the registry does not provide any such service for us
- any money on hold for failed and "not submitted" registrations will be
made avaialable quite quickly; these funds will not be on hold for long
(we do not require the funds until the last minute as well
Thanks goodness landrush only occurs once!
