Are you checking this via the Registry WHOIS available at
http://www.verisign-grs.com/cgi-bin/whois ?

If so, what are they showing as the last updated date? The verisign
registry sometimes skips updating their WHOIS for a day or two.

If you are using network solutions WHOIS, then it is understandable if
they are not providing correct information as they are not authoritive for
your name servers--and they have a problem in getting the correct
information from the registry (part of their FUD campaign).
