I got a great one. Customer has two domains expiring. One today one next week.
He puts in transfers from NSI/V to us on October 31st. He jumps through all designated hopes of fire while standing on his head barking like a chicken. Can you guess what happens? Dickheads let the one go that expires next week. But the other one that expires today... he is still waiting for registry approval. Gee, that's strange... and so ironic... Mind you, he replied (copy paste) to BOTH confirmations the same day. Could it be that his one domain read the Wall Street Journal and the other domain was orphaned to a family in West Virginia? One can only wonder if and how many VeriSign employees are on this list? I've got more abuse where this comes from. What a bunch of babies. How can a company suck so bad but thrive so much? Oh I forgot, win a government contract. Can you say Microsoft? Meanwhile I'm up at 2 am doing customer service etc... Can't we just shoot the bastards? <grin> I keep thinking... what is the solution? One of Ross's well written complaints to ICANN? On a whole, we all know a year from now this will be more of the same. It ain't gonna change. We just need to accept it and develop counter tactics. You never know may VeriSign only has about 10 domain customers left and really wants them to stay, like it or not. I'm getting too old for this $t. We've never had a problem with this before. Is anyone else having this problem?
