Michael, Possibly your earlier successful transfers were before TotalNic (Capital Networks) becare an ICANN Accredited Registrar themselves.. In fact, it appears that they are attempting to force all their existing TotalNic/Core customers to do a transfer/renew to their own Regstrar account..
