It's important to note that this isn't a true reseller program, instead its just a commission based program. Godaddy does all of the processing (including billing). It would be very difficult to sell domains through them at any rate higher than their posted retail pricing. In fact, based on the example below, Godaddy makes more money on each "reseller" registration than they do on each "retail" registration.
I'm not sure how it could be attractive as your profit would only be the 25 cents per domain. Also I just discovered (see their reseller FAQ) that they charge the reseller the CC processing fee (discount rate) which they state is 3.41%. A one year domain registration would break down as follows: Registrant pays $8.95 Godaddy gives you .25 commission Godaddy charges you the 3.41% CC processing fee (in this case it is .31) So you end up owing Godaddy .06 cents on the one year registration.
