I've transferred about 20 away from them in the past year, and this is the first I've heard of this. DirectNIC is an OpenSRS Reseller!
Or they were last month when I did a transfer from them. Charles, can you shed a little light on this?
This would however explain why it's taken so long to hear back on the 2 requests I have pending with them right now.

That sounds like a crock of shit. I wonder when  the other BIG guys (Ha!)
that have been denying transfers saying they never got the requests, or say
they sent confirmations out but never got them back will start that pay for
a transfer system....$15 a name hu....
