Well, the site says no new names will be rewarded until Jan 7th, perhaps
they're in transition at the moment?  Looks all legit to me - especially
considering the .edu TLD in the URL for the new um.. registrar? (would
that be the correct term?)

Weird this never hit the radar before, the award announcement says October
29th was the date the NTIA and "Educause" announced the 5 year agreement.  
Guess with .info and .biz, the free domain names with a rather strict
requirement clause just blew under our noses ;)
