I know you don't want to hear this Patrick, but this is a valid
denial.

Looking at the dates on the Emails, the request was not approved by
you to the OpenSRS system until the 9th, and that would mean that it
was not sent to the Registry, and then to NSI Registrar, until the
9th.  Presuming the expiration date was the 9th, that is a valid
reason for denial.

I always recommend people transfer their domain names FAR in advance
of the expiration.  Of course, I recommend transferring domains from
Verisign's NSI Registrar even if they have years until expiration.
Especially since you don't lose any time that is remaining on the
domain, since the year you pay for is added on to the end of that.
