Well, sure there would be, which would be to implement it as I described 
(make it change OpenSRS's auto-ack into an auto-nack for certain domains) 
instead of using Verisign's official registry lock setting, which has 
some undesirable side effects if you're just trying to prevent 
non-authorized transfers. (Or maybe in some cases they're desirable, 
depending on the domain owner's wishes.)

In any case, there's some virtue in using standardized systems even if 
they have drawbacks, and it sounds like OpenSRS already has it 
implemented, so that's fine. As I said, I appreciate the effort. It was 
just a suggestion in case the implementation decision hadn't yet been 
made.
