Yes, it was.  And was funded by a donation to him for $1,000 to get it
rolling.

Well, there has already been some quite public disputes over this, and
about the make up of that panel not being varied enough to truly look
after the broader interests.

Lots of concerns raised over exclusionary practices many of them have
been supporting, making statements that certain classes of people of
no business being in the at-large, etc.

I'm just saying, this movement is still very immature, and is not at
all stable, and I'm very concerned that the stubbornness of its
founder in believing that his judgement is better than others, and his
need to exert control, that it may end up hurting the entire movement.

And on an issue this important, that would be a real travesty.

According to Joop, not until there are 1000 members.  Until then, he
dictates, and lets his self selected panel override him if they can
almost all agree.

It's not a democratic way of doing things, not yet anyway.
