Hi Frank,

I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

The .ca name is the one that has expired, and no, they don't have the .on.ca
anymore. I am still worried about them losing the domain. The other
reseller doesn't even mention they do domain registration anywhere on their
website! They are a small company and I don't think they do a lot of
registrations. Perhaps confusion is the root of the problem there.

Thanks also for resending that notice. I noticed you have to be an existing
active registrant so I won't even be able to register it this way correctly.
Is that still true?

Thanks,

Heather

Heather, due to the fact the domain is going to hit the 30-day mark in 2
days, there is little we can do considering it is now the weekend.

I will bounce you a copy of the original announcement made about how to
register domains once they are in the TBR (to be released) state. Your
client, since they have the .ca domain have the ability to block anyone
else trying to register the .on.ca domain - so you dont need to worry
about losing the domain.

As for the refusal to renew the domain, if your client has their manage
login/password, it would seem to me that they could use the current RSP's
renew.cgi or equivalent if they have a public renewal interface - it is
the login that's required, not a valid admin contact. If they're doing
all their renewals via the RWI, I cannot see a reason why they'd refuse
to renew it. Although without knowing all sides of the story, it's hard
to know for sure, it could simply be confusion on the part of the RSP.

Hope this helps.
