I'll add the *everything* I've heard from Versign on this has been plug-in centric for months now. I'm waiting for a Q&A session/full announcement on the newest plug-in news (Outlook, native string retention) that should be coming this week, at which point I can grill 'em about using real technology, BUT, I entertain very slim hopes that the answer will be anything like:
