Our stance is it should be left out of the public "Manage" and left to the
RSP to unlock,
I called a few of our customers that have multiple names here and they like
the idea of a phone call to me, to unlock the domain even with a
password. A few of them have had rogue IT staff obtain the pass, and then
xfer domains to other registrars (against managements wishes)

It is our policy to NEVER hold a name "hostage" against the clients wishes,
some times we'd like to due to payment/other issues however integrity kicks
in, and we ALWAYS let the name go without a fuss.

I honestly feel that 99% of resellers for opensrs have the same view, there
is little point in using a domain as a hostage, once it comes down to that
you've already lost the customer... why smear your good name.

I'd say that if rogue domain locking becomes a problem... that opensrs deal
with those RSP's on a one-to-one basis leaving the honest ones alone to run
their business.

In the few phone calls I made this morning, the majority of our clients
with multiple names want them locked by default.
