The only way a nameserver gets changed is with a domain login/password.
There are only two possibilities:

1) The DNS info was never changed after the transfer.

2) Someone (for whatever reason) changed the DNS back to Domain Direct.

Either way, there is no need to contact anyone. Simply correct the DNS
(which has already been done) and change the password in case it has
been compromised.
