Hi Jeremy, I'm not going to say too much until I've had a chance to talk with our lawyer (yet another way this whole transfer slamming thing is going to eat up time and resources, arg.), but I must say it's nice to see others not shying away from this. You're right in saying that there is no advantage to our collective customers to transfer their domains away. They lose other services that their current RSP is providing, they lose the personal support that most RSPs I believe provide, and they get charged a premium rate for the transfer.
Most of our clients that I've talked to haven't been able to get their domains transfered back. As we've pointed out on domainscams.com, DRoA/C locks the domain once transfered, and removes the contact email addresses. This makes a domain totally untransferable. They also maintain a policy of not providing a full refund if the transfer is unsuccessful. Nice. Doug.
